Information We Collect
We collect the information needed to sell, deliver, and support MyBatteryKit. This includes checkout details such as email address, plan, invoice data, payment status, and license records.
For installation analytics and support, free installations report a pseudonymous installation identifier, device name, app and macOS versions, Mac model and chip, architecture, and helper installation status. These reports are kept separately from licenses and remain available when an installation becomes inactive. We do not collect battery history through this reporting. For license enforcement and support, we also process activation data such as seat identifier, device name, macOS version, Mac model, model identifier, chip family, activation timestamps, and license status.
When a download is requested, we use the network address briefly to determine an approximate country or region and to enforce abuse limits. We store the network address and a keyed visitor identifier in download analytics, together with limited request metadata such as time, approximate location, referral source, user agent, download target, and the version identified by that target. These records are available only to authenticated administrators and are deleted after the configured retention period.
